Our Programs

The Ballet Conservatory of South Texas offers four distinct Programs.

The Creative Movement School
The Academy
The Pre-Professional Company
The Community School

The Creative Movement School, ages 3 - 5

Designed to introduce the youngest dancers to movement.  Fun, disguised as class, will prepare them for more formal dance training.  Each week, a new storybook character, such as Pocahontas or Madeline, will be introduced as the theme for that class.  Students and parents will love the activities that go with each session!

The Academy, students 6 - 21

Beginning with Ballet I, it is important to be introduced to this art form with the proper instruction.  Our Artistic Director will work with each level to insure each class is of the highest caliber.  Students will be tentatively placed in classes based on their age and training.  The Director will assess students for appropriate placement.

The Pre-Professional Company, ages 11 - 21

Designed for ballet students who desire to study in a more serious environment.  The company is open by audition, held monthly, for students with the abilitity and desire to study seriously.  These students have performance opportunities throughout the year, counseling, and opportunities for summer auditions and training of the highest standards.  This program is designed for students who desire careers in ballet along with the serious hobbyist.

The Community School, teens through adults

Adult ballet, musical theather, and other rotating classes are open to the community for teens and adults wanting to dance for sheer joy and exercise.
